Successful stay in a comfortable hotel with welcoming staff.

Good hotel in the Chamberi district. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Bathroom well equipped. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Easy reach of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the Metro. Breakfast was very good.

Some of the decor in our bedroom needed some TLC. Nothing disastrous, but just updating or a lick of paint.

Very good breakfast buffet, nice individual rooms. Best location in town (Chamberi) as not in the touristic area but close enough to walk to the center. Not a typical standard hotel.

The aircondition cannot be switched off. One can regulate temperature etc. well, but the light noise is constant.

I still recommend it.

Location not far off Gran Via and most beautiful squares. Breakfast was fresh and excellent. Clean and friendly staff. Quite area . Room had small terrazzo which was relaxing after a busy day going places in Madrid.

The hotel setup is old fashioned . But nothing else to bother. We were in Madrid during a mini heatwave and temperature in room could not get cooler since ac could not be set to cool air . Was told by staff that this was because it is not yet summer so hotel chillers were still set for winter.
